Urban Plant Lady

Art and Meditation: therapeutic processes.
Kei’Anna Anderson is an African American published sculptor who examines the biological similarities between the plant and human species. She uses field observations as well as biblical references to understand their physical and spiritual interconnectivity.
As Anderson examines Creation, as documented in the Book of Genesis, and the replenishing life of plants and humans, she shines light on their structural and behavioral symmetry.
Her work is a narrative of the idealistic world between Humans and Plants, as she describes their design and function as being a “utopian bio exchange”.

“ Exceeding all other benefits that Nature gives us, it models our job as the superior creation, to be vessels that distribute life. Nature also demonstrates a reliance on counterparts, which is vital for any ecosystem to perform properly.
My work fantasizes about Earth in its original design and function.”
